The Wyze Cam OG represents a return to Wyze's roots of providing incredible value at an ultra-low price point. At just $19.99 (or $14.99 on sale), this 1080p camera delivers features typically found in cameras costing 3-5x more.

The camera features a 121.4-degree wide field of view with an f/2.0 aperture for excellent low-light performance. The built-in spotlight enables full color night vision, while IR LEDs provide traditional infrared night vision when the spotlight is off. Video quality is 1080p at 20fps with crisp daylight footage and impressive color night vision.

IP65 weatherproofing means the OG can be used both indoors and outdoors, handling rain, dust, and temperatures from -4°F to 113°F. The magnetic base allows for quick repositioning, and the included mounting accessories support both indoor and outdoor installations.

Local storage supports microSD cards up to 256GB for continuous recording—no subscription required. Free cloud storage includes 14-day event history, though events are limited to 12 seconds. The optional Cam Plus subscription ($1.99/month) adds person, pet, package, and vehicle detection plus unlimited event recording.

Voice control works through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for live viewing on compatible displays. Apple HomeKit is NOT supported natively. Home Assistant integration requires the docker-wyze-bridge workaround as the OG does NOT support RTSP streaming.
