The Eufy Security SoloCam S220 is a solar-powered wireless outdoor camera that requires no subscription fees. The built-in 0.9W solar panel collects 200-400 mAh daily while the camera uses only 100-130 mAh, keeping it running indefinitely with just 3 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Video quality is 2K (2560x1440) with a 135-degree field of view. The f/1.6 aperture delivers exceptional night vision with infrared LEDs, while "Night Color" mode provides color footage in low-light conditions when motion triggers the spotlight.
Local storage is built-in with 8GB eMMC memory—no memory cards or cloud subscriptions required. The camera does NOT support cloud or NAS storage, emphasizing privacy by keeping footage on-device. For expanded storage, the S220 is compatible with HomeBase 3.
Motion detection uses a PIR sensor with up to 30ft (10m) range and human detection AI to reduce false alerts. A 75dB siren can be triggered manually or automatically. Two-way audio with built-in microphone and speaker enables communication with visitors.
